HaHa a good laugh

My friend had posted on her facebook the following status:
Reposted from a friend - 1.) Go to Google Maps. 2.) Click on "Get Directions." 3.) Enter Taiwan as the start location. 4.) Enter China as the end location. 5.) Read step 24 of the directions. 6.) If you laugh, re-post!

being the inquisitive being I am, I decided to indeed google Taiwan to China.I spared you the entirety of the 75 directions. I only included 5 =)

This is the result I got :

Taiwan

1. Head west on 人倫林道支線 toward 人倫林道
200 m
20. Slight right toward Exit 五股一交流道(八里)
1.0 km
21. Take the ramp onto 台64線
10.1 km
22. Turn right at 領港大道
1.3 km
23. Turn left
1.1 km
24. Swim across the Pacific Ocean
165 km

Haha really? =) What are the craziest directions you ever recieved ?

Ok, I LOVE them!

So for my new job I had to purchase all black tennis shoes. No biggie I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Nike Shox. I love Shox, because they take the weight of my weight off of my ankels ( which are weak. especially the left one since I broke it twice) Pap introduced me to shox years ago and ever since I have been hooked! Sadly barely anyone but Dicks place carries them anymore. Mom and I headed to Dicks Sporting Goods- saw a super cute grey, hot pink and black pair and 1 solid black pair. I have wide feet so its a little hearder for me to find things. Anyway I try on the last pair they had and to my dismay it didn't fit. So now I am in a dilemma- I need a comfortable yet supportive pair of shoes for work ( which requires lifting and unpacking boxes- exciting I know.) So we ended up going to Kohls because I had to get my Kahki pants and I found this AMAZING shoes that I always made fun of. They are sketchers shape ups FX . A little on the pricey side ( 99.00) But I had a 15% off plus they were one sale. They are DEFINATLY worth the inverstment- They make your calves BURN, help you lose weight and help with your posture. and they are so comfortable! I was able to do Tucks and Herkes for the first time since High School! They feel like you are running on sand, by walking. It is AWESOME!

What is your favorite pair of shoes & why? :)

If you are having troubles, Depression ANYTHING read this post =)

I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I am a Christian. And that may turn people away from my blog. I'm sorry if it does. Anyway I found these fantastic words in the Message ( Thanks Uncle G!) I read them and was encouraged, I hope they encourage you too. I've been struggling with depression, anxiety and just grief from losing my Pappy as well as school and job search ( which is depressing really, especially when you have interviews and no hires :( ) Enjoy Loves! This passage is from the book of 2 Timothy..I'm not sure what verse because the message doesn't write numbers for some reason... Oh well. :) I actually just took bits and peices( I think thats ok. ... and it made sense to me ( but read the whole passage its good!) This is the entire Book of Second Timothy

If we die with him, we'll live with him; If we stick it out with him, we'll rule with him; If we turn our backs on him, he'll turn his back on us; If we give up on him, he does not give up— for there's no way he can be false to himself.

Don't be nieve. There are difficult times ahead.

2 Timothy Chapter 3 ( not sure what verses, because the message doesn't label the verses)

And you also well know that God rescued me! Anyone who wants to live all out for Christ is in for a lot of trouble; there's no getting around it. Unscrupulous con men will continue to exploit the faith. They're as deceived as the people they lead astray. As long as they are out there, things can only get worse. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.

22God be with you. Grace be with you.

Ok so it is random. Sorry :(

Here are some of my Favorite proverbs.. They helped and still help me through hard times. I hope they help you to. Pappy would tell me alot of proverbs. but I can't exactly call up to heaven and ask him anything so here's my attempt at Sharing the word. :)

Proverbs 29 :

3 If you love wisdom, you'll delight your parents, but you'll destroy their trust if you run with whores.

7 The good-hearted understand what it's like to be poor; the hardhearted haven't the faintest idea.

21 If you let people treat you like a doormat, you'll be quite forgotten in the end.

Proverbs 28

9 God has no use for the prayers of the people who won't listen to him.

10 Lead good people down a wrong path and you'll come to a bad end; do good and you'll be rewarded for it.

Okay, thats enough for today. It has no real pattern, and it's probably a stupid idea. Pappy would now how to write this. Have I mentioned I really really miss my grandfather ? :(

The last one really convicted me because I have led many good people to do ungood things. God knows what I'm talking about, and I bet those people know what I'm talking about too. Love you all. God Bless and I love you all ( and so does Jesus ! )

Pumpkin Carving 101 =)

This past halloween I carved 2 Pumpkins! :) Here is a simple how to from me to you!

Step 1 ) Buy awesome pumpkin ( this year I am into the white pumpkins, idk why)

Step 2 ) Pick a pattern or freestyle. ( For the Jack pumpkin I freestyled, It was pretty easy I just traced 2 big circles for his eyes, then 2 tiny little circles for his nose. I used the typical pumpkin toothy smile for his smile, added a few extra stitches and voila! I had Jack Skellington :)

Step 3) Before Carving Cut top of pumpkin out and scoop out the seeds, reserve seeds if planning to make roasted pumpkin seeds with sweet and salty crunc ( which you can find on my Recipe Blog)

Put tealight candle in pumpkin after carving. Light up and VOILA! you're done! C'est magnifique! :-)

My Pappy, My Hero

For those of you who know me, you will know that I was extremly close to my Pappy. Pappy recently passed and entered into heaven . I'm still trying to get to grips with it. My life moves fast, and slow all at once. He was a great Crhistian man, the best one I ever knew :) I included his obituary and a picture. No amount of words I write could EVER do the justice of what he was. He was a devout Christrian, retired pastor, great pappy and loved my grammy SO much. I miss him , but I know he has no more pain, no more worries, and he finally is at home in the heaven he long for. I only hope that as I continue in my life, I can achieve completeness in Jesus, just as he had- and join him :) I know this post is long, but that's ok. Pappy Deserved it :)

Behind my smile there's many a tear, for one we loved and lost so dear, an empty place that cant be filled, i miss you know and always will. When none of it made any sense and just as I was about to lose Faith, GOD whispered in my ear "Heaven needed a hero" RIP Pappy, I miss you

:( 11/7/25-10/24/2010. Heaven Got the best angel that day ♥
