Nightmare Christmas At Disney!!! :)

Ok so ever since I purchased my nightmare before christmas dvd set about 5 years ago I have always wanted to go to the Haunted Mansions Nightmare Before Christmas Makeover. They chance it every year, so its totally something I would do. Sad tears I have A) no money and B) no friends who enjoy nightmare before christmas. Sad Day. :( Anyway it opens up this month ( Sept 17th) and runs till Jan 3 2011. Hopefully next year I will find a friend to go with me :) I love Nightmare before Christmas's Nightmare revisited soundtrack for Halloween. Not really Christmas unless its an EMo Christmas :) Oh I LOVE FALL!!!!! p.s. Made some pretty amazing recipe's and Clay things will be posting them soo. Pumpkin Spice Latte is Back!!

I Love Love LOVE Fall. The State fair is back ( James and I had an Amazing time last year- best date ever by far ) ( Well in my opinion anyway, he probably didnt really care, he was just glad to not be at work . :) Look at the artwork I saw when I walked into Starbucks. Makes my heart melt, kind of like falling in Love but way better- Starbucks won't ever break your heart ( unless you count the times when they discontinued your favorite drink...or take away the seasonal flavors...then I'm a little bitter )

P.S. I had my iced Venti no whip pumpkin pie latte today. Iced is not the best for the pumpkin spice latte- frappacino or best is hot. Then its like liquid pumpkin pie ( my absolute fav) =)

UGGH!

I have mad respect for nurses now. I mean you go through this boot camp called nursing school, which by the way you can fail out of. Yea. FAIL OUT. Its all overwhelming really. My advice to anyone interested in nursing : Have a backup plan. Theres lots of waiting involved with nursing school. Waiting to get in, waiting to find out if you pass.....waiting. Finals and ATI are coming up. This semester was comparable to a semi truck flattening me out in the middle of the street, which is delightful. really. You know what I'm most excited about ? It's september! Which means fall annnnd PUMPKIN FRAPPS FROM STARBUCKS!!!!!!! I can barely contain my happiness. After which is thanksgivving ( full of nummy nummmy food!) and CHRISTMAS. and graduation is in there somewhere. uggh, I am SO ready to be out of nursing school. It's odd b.c. someone told me the other day they were jealous of me being in school and wishing they were there, my reply was are you smoking CRACK? Seriously it is THE most stressfull thing ever. Expect to lose your hair, have high blood pressure, constant migraines, etc etc the list could go on. Constant work. but the reward will be totally worth it. :) Only 2 more weeks of Summer- yes Summer session. Oh the Tamster and I are having a yard sale soon- yay money! Yay Selling things!

I am hoping to set up my ETSY account soon, or restore it I should say. Look for my willow pillows and clay goodies :)

the MOST awesome thing I have learned in Nursing School: I got to hold a baby that was only 20 minutes old. How freaking AWESOME! and I'm in that faimlies pictures b.c I helped give the baby a bath. I think I found my calling its one of these three or all three

1) Forensic Nurse ( hence the Criminal Justice Majoring )

2) OB/Delivery nurse

3) OR Scrub/cirulationg nurse

4) Pediatric nurse (I'm thinking a school nurse :) )

5) Psychiatric Nurse ( Face it, everyone is crazy in their own delusional way )

The Boyfriend

I forgot to Introduce the Boyfriend, so now he gets his own special post. Lucky Him :) Anywho, We've been dating a little over a year, known each other 2 years ( time flys by quickly!) He is uber smart, and he's an electrical engineer. and he does an AMAZING job at putting things together. He also cooks pretty awesome. I'm a lucky girl :)

A Blog Hoooray!

Well, I decided after much debate to start my own blog. My life is nothing spectacular, or even exciting, but I figured maybe I can write as an outlet, and share my creativity with others. I'm in the midst of Hopefully completing nursing school, moving to the 757 ( williamsburg represent ) and maybe doing a recipe thing as well :) Oh and showing my craftiness with my clay creations.

I went Yardsale hunting today with Tammy and got THE most amazing things , all for $3.00

These are just a smidgen of what I got today. I was stoke because I got a FUR REAL animal thing for my stepneice for christmas for 25 cents. 25 CENTS! =) I also got Jamie this uber cute outfit for Texas A&M for 50 cents. Definatly had a stellar day. I also saw the most Gorgeous table and chairs for 30.00, but didn't get it due to A) lack of apartment and B) lack of money. Overall a Stellar Day =)
