Pumpkin Carving 101 =)

This past halloween I carved 2 Pumpkins! :) Here is a simple how to from me to you!

Step 1 ) Buy awesome pumpkin ( this year I am into the white pumpkins, idk why)

Step 2 ) Pick a pattern or freestyle. ( For the Jack pumpkin I freestyled, It was pretty easy I just traced 2 big circles for his eyes, then 2 tiny little circles for his nose. I used the typical pumpkin toothy smile for his smile, added a few extra stitches and voila! I had Jack Skellington :)

Step 3) Before Carving Cut top of pumpkin out and scoop out the seeds, reserve seeds if planning to make roasted pumpkin seeds with sweet and salty crunc ( which you can find on my Recipe Blog)

Put tealight candle in pumpkin after carving. Light up and VOILA! you're done! C'est magnifique! :-)

So this year for Halloween I was a fortune teller 1 for 1 party and then an emo kid for another. I loved being an emo kid :)

I don't think I have ever been so excited for Halloween before. Probably because I'm going to an amazing weekend in Lynchburg again. =) I wanted to post my pictures of my halloween pumpkins, but my camera battery is dead and I can't find my charger. GRR. SO here are some perty pictures of pumpkins and things that I love =) Enjoy!
