Ok so I was just looking up stuffs online and found thses funny nursing phrases - plan on using them in my nursing bag stuffers haha =)

Student Nurse: I gave up my life, so I could learn how to save yours

Cardiac Nurse- Your heart is our Soul concern

Endoscopy nurse- No butts, no glory

Geriatric Nurse- it never gets old

GI Nurse- Up Yours!

Home Health Nurse- No I don't do windows

PEDIATRIC NURSE... 1/3 mom, 1/3 nurse, 1/3 best friend.

PSYCH NURSE... I think my patients are contagious.

RADIOLOGY NURSE... Lie and I'll see right thru you!

SCHOOL NURSES ROCK... Just not on school nights.

I plan on making little goody bags at the end of the semester for everyone- just some candy and a pen. nothing super fantastic. BUT I do plan on doing somehting uberfantastic for the graduation. Mwuahahahahha =)

UGGH!

I have mad respect for nurses now. I mean you go through this boot camp called nursing school, which by the way you can fail out of. Yea. FAIL OUT. Its all overwhelming really. My advice to anyone interested in nursing : Have a backup plan. Theres lots of waiting involved with nursing school. Waiting to get in, waiting to find out if you pass.....waiting. Finals and ATI are coming up. This semester was comparable to a semi truck flattening me out in the middle of the street, which is delightful. really. You know what I'm most excited about ? It's september! Which means fall annnnd PUMPKIN FRAPPS FROM STARBUCKS!!!!!!! I can barely contain my happiness. After which is thanksgivving ( full of nummy nummmy food!) and CHRISTMAS. and graduation is in there somewhere. uggh, I am SO ready to be out of nursing school. It's odd b.c. someone told me the other day they were jealous of me being in school and wishing they were there, my reply was are you smoking CRACK? Seriously it is THE most stressfull thing ever. Expect to lose your hair, have high blood pressure, constant migraines, etc etc the list could go on. Constant work. but the reward will be totally worth it. :) Only 2 more weeks of Summer- yes Summer session. Oh the Tamster and I are having a yard sale soon- yay money! Yay Selling things!

I am hoping to set up my ETSY account soon, or restore it I should say. Look for my willow pillows and clay goodies :)

the MOST awesome thing I have learned in Nursing School: I got to hold a baby that was only 20 minutes old. How freaking AWESOME! and I'm in that faimlies pictures b.c I helped give the baby a bath. I think I found my calling its one of these three or all three

1) Forensic Nurse ( hence the Criminal Justice Majoring )

2) OB/Delivery nurse

3) OR Scrub/cirulationg nurse

4) Pediatric nurse (I'm thinking a school nurse :) )

5) Psychiatric Nurse ( Face it, everyone is crazy in their own delusional way )
